I’ve been considering visiting the local Fitness centre for quite a while now, but for some reason I always managed to, well, not go. Finally bit the bullet, and will start there this evening.

Doesn’t get more convenient than this, it’s about 50 meters from my place, and has an unlimited monthly subscription.

Went to see Die Hard 4.0 this evening. It’s true to the series, so it’s a fun, action-packed movie. The only letdown was a scene with a Jet fighter, you’ll know what I mean once you’ve seen it. Definately worth seeing.

Been watching NCIS recently. It’s essentially JAG meets CSI. I like it more than I do CSI, to me it seems to stay closer to reality than CSI does. That is not to say it’s reaslitic, of course. Anyway, I’m at the end of seison 2, and that must have been the one of the biggest ‘in your face’ cliffhangers I’ve seen in ages. Spoilers ahead.

Lyanna asked me if I wanted to be one of her witnesses for their wedding. I feel incredibly honoured by this request, and I was glad to accept.

As many know, there was a bit of a bomb scare in the UK last weekend. It gets more interesting to discover what amateurs the people behind this supposedly well coordinated Al Quaida attack really were…

Granted, it is worrying that people would attempt it, even more so that these people had a proper education, but a well planned terrorist attempt it wasnt. Too bad so many governments have a vested interest in keeping the Terrorist scare alive…

Edit: Statistically, these people would have made more victims had they stayed on as doctors until their retirement than they ever could have hoped to kill this way…

When driving home yesterday, the DRIP above the A12 gave me a wonderful selection of options. Would I take the A4, at 12km of traffic jams? The A12 looked enticing too, at 12kms as well. The A13 came in at only 5km, but doesn’t include other nasty parts. All in all did the trip home in just over 2 hours.

There was a nice thunderstorm here at about 4:30 am. In itself not too bad, it’s nice to be under warm blankets with the sound of rain in the background. Too bad a particular loud thunder set off some car alarms… probably of people living away for enough not to be bothered with it themselves…

Got my new car this weekend: a ‘97 Mitsubishi Galant 2.0 sedan, with ABS, aircon, airbags, a LPG installation and more. Good car, known history, great drive.
